He also contributed towards the research in the developing fields of single-incision surgery and scarless natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery. He has been invited to present his research findings at national and international meetings. He is active in the education of medical students. Dr. Harvey is developing a new program of skills-based training for the residents in the simulation lab.</P>
